Many people on average work these days until 6pm. Staying open until at least 8pm will generate more revenue for your business, more tips for your staff, and more revenue for North Georgia. Right now the liquor stores stay open later than any restaurant or bar. We have been at local restaurants and regularly have witnessed prospective customer walk in at 845pm, being disappointed and disbelief that the restaurant or bar was closing in 15 minutes. There is money out there to earn if you stay open a little later, which is the normal standard in most cities. If the bar and restaurant community decided to collectively stay open later, this would create a demand for Uber and Lyft drivers, permitting patrons to stay later, spend more money with you, and help the North Georgia economy with new employment opportunities for North Georgians to drive for Uber or Lyft. Uber and Lyft are great “partners in business” for a region like ours where driving is essential.
