May 2026 Updated Sunday Brunch Review: We had called ahead to request the high top near the bar, near the one TV out on the patio behind the bar to watch the Indianapolis 500 (I am from Indianapolis an this is a tradition), and Blueberry Hill accommodated this special request! Our Bloody Marys were spicy as requested and tasty, and the Eggs Benedict variations offered by Blueberry Hill are real stand-outs. We loved the brisket benedict and the crabcake benedict. The eggs were poached PERFECTLY, and the sauce was not heavy or excessive; these were both some of the best egg benedicts we had ever had. The hash browns and collard greens are excellent too. The staff and service are real pros; this is a proper restaurant who knows exactly what they are doing and how to delight new customers staying there, and how to keep locals like us coming back.
May 2026 Dinner Review: Enjoyed dinner at Blueberry Hill and hard to not make it our go to for a fine meal. The special that night was the Oscar Burger (see the recipe below), and we hope that they make it a regular special. It was one of the finest specialty burgers I had ever had, so hopeful for its return. We also had the Risotto Primavera, and they definitely know how to prepare their shrimp and not cook it a minute longer. The shrimp was perfect. The risotto was very good, and we wager any of the additions would be excellent. Again, another very fine meal at Blueberry Hill.
Original 2026 Review: We had the good fortune of trying Blueberry Hill at the Dahlonega Resort and Vineyard this spring, and we can not wait to return for lunch and dinner. The spring day was gorgeous that Sunday, but their view on the porch would be lovely on a cloudy day. We sat near the bar so the bartender took all our orders, and she was a pro. She was attentive and observant and knew just the right times when we likely wanted another drink or were done with our meal, and did not interrupt us otherwise. A real pro. While we could have ordered almost everything on the brunch menu, we went with some classics of the day – the special quiche of the day (onion, artichoke and gruyere) and the special short ribs eggs benedict. The eggs benedict had perfectly poached eggs, not messy, delicious. I could have order it all over again. The quiche was exceptional – not too cheesy, well flavored throughout each bite, and a great contrast between the slight crunch of the crust and the smoothness and creaminess of the quiche filling. This was a special and we hope they add it to the regular brunch menu. Our Bloody Marys were excellent and our server, also the bartender knew to ask our preference for spicy or not (we always go with spicy), and they were very good too.
We can’t wait to return to Blueberry Hill for brunch again and dinner too. It’s not far from Cleveland, closer than you think to Cleveland so add it to your brunch options and please tell them you read a review here on North Georgia Culture.
