366 Paradise Road, Blairsville, Georgia 30512
We had driven past Paradise Hills many times on the way to Blairsville, and able to enjoy a tasting on a recent Thursday. Paradise Hills sits on gorgeous grounds and is also a resort, spa, special events and cabin rental vineyard for your North Georgia adventure. We focused on the winery and their house wines for this review, and after our tasting, we could have easily stayed and rented a cabin!
First impressions: A lovely gift shop with fine curated collection of gifts for wine enthusiasts or for a special souvenir from North Georgia. The bartender was very charming, and informed and a pro who helped us select our wines based on our preference for Dry.

- Chardonnay – Very balanced; a wine we would want to sneak into the movie theater to enjoy with popcorn; creaminess without being oaky, easy drinking.
- Sunset – Aptly named with the mixture and blend giving it a unique color, with heavy notes of cooked fruit, very fruity without the sweetness.
- Eclipse – Off Dry Red, Very Smooth, a Red blend like the Sunset; great for folks who may not be familiar with the nuances of the Reds, a great beginner Red wine.
- Cabernet Sauvignon – Very nice! Gentle tannins; this would pair great with a meal like spaghetti and meat sauce, or a sausage, pepperoni and pepper pizza.
- 889 – Metallic with lovely minerality and slight tartness. Liked it A LOT! Definitely taking home a bottle; note it is one of their higher price point wine, and worth it.

During our visit there had been some rain earlier in the day so the outdoors patio and tables was not an option, but Paradise Hills seems like it would attract and bring in a fun crowd for simply the winery and tasting room, which is a fine option and perk for overnight guests.
