We were referred to the Gallant Goat because they stay open later some nights than other bars and restaurants in Dalton, Georgia. A Craft Cocktail establishment, the Gallant Goat was slammed when we got there; it was nice to be around a crowd. The space is not large, and although there are some outside tables, it may be difficult to find seating for a party unless you arrive early. The cocktails were outstanding, and the bartenders were mixologist pros. We had their signature cocktail the Three Amigos, that had a kick, and then we also had a classic Paper Plane, and off-menu cocktail and we were not surprised the bartender knew the recipe. This was a last call, late in the evening visit, so not a lot to experience except that their drinks were perfect for a night cap, and the bar is very tastefully and artistically decorated.
