What a fine night in Dalton, Georgia with an outstanding meal at Cyra’s! This is a very nice restaurant. Jackets not required for gentlemen, but it is not a casual eatery, so we requested a table in their outdoors dining patio as we were a little bit casual. The restaurant is so tastefully decorated, nice artwork and the staff, our server, were all pros, pleasant and knowledgeable. Here’s our review of all our nice courses:
Crab Cakes Appetizer – 97% crab, very little filler, melts in your mouth, a really proper crab cake, and this is the recipe and crab cake used in other entrees with crab. We could have had another round of crab cakes!
Grilled Caesar Salad – Very nice charred lettuce, it could possibly have even been more charred as it was such a nice touch. The Caesar dressing is home-made from their own recipe, unique flavor. Very nice.
Ahi Tuna – They served it as requested, Very Rare, almost as rare as a sushi or sashimi, which was perfect. This was a very fine tuna.
Black Angus Burger – Outstanding mix and flavor and perfectly Medium Rare. I am a burger purist and generally don’t request cheese or condiments, and this fine burger did not require any more than just the lettuce and very nice tomato. This burger is a reward for yourself and a treat!
The cocktails were very good, and as you can see in the menu below, they offer a wide and complete wine and beer selection, among their wide variety of cocktails.
