June 2025: We stopped in for a drink after work and we were delighted to see the patio was full of people having fun, the crowd was cool, the evening was nice, and Serenity was hosting live music, a singer down from Tennessee named Misy. Misy was an ideal entertainer for the late afternoon crowd, singing covers and originals as she played a guitar. As always, the team behind the bar are pleasant, funny, fun, knowledgeable about their wines and great at helping you make your decision, which can be difficult with so many good choices. We had the Bianco Bello (our favorite although we enjoy all their Dry wines), a classic, Dry, easy drinking lovely blended White wine, and I was not in the mood for a wine just yet, so I enjoyed one of my favorite lagers, the Classic City Lager, a Georgia lager by Creature Comforts Brewing Company. So we had a great happy hour after work, with fine wine and fine music, and we will return to Serenity for sure many times this summer and the crowd shows that we are not alone in loving the vibe at Serenity.
Spring 2025: One of our favorite aspects of Serenity is that they usually have a nice diverse and friendly crowd there. The Tuscany style tasting room is the first building, and then if you walk the grounds down to the performance and event space, you will find an indoors area with a small bar, stage, tables, and a lively scene if there is a performer. The grounds are lovely and you feel like you are in Italy with the stone decor and architecture.
We had a flight and opted for the Dry choices at each turn. We enjoyed the dry wines, but if you like sweet wine, or port you will be very happy with their selections. As we were told, their wine maker uses Old World traditions and techniques to make all their wines, and we did find the Dry wines we tasted to be consistent and matching with the winery description. We will be returning soon and while the indoors space is charming, we think you will enjoy a sunny and nice day when you can walk around and choose an outdoors picnic style table.
**They are dog friendly as long as your canine kinds are on leashes and are friendly and not disruptive**
