Let me begin by how after we finished our tasting, we brought home many different bottles of Redtail wine! We were enchanted by the landscape and view of Redtail from the moment we parked. The view is spectacular. The tasting room is small as most guests choose to sit outside, and when we were there they had a gentleman playing guitar and singing and he was quite good. We opted to taste our flight inside for the chance to speak with the delightful staff and the owner. We had the good fortune of meeting the owner Brad Taylor who shared that they grew their audience and regulars by word of mouth, by providing fine wine in a fine atmosphere. We liked very much that they are hosting a Kentucky Derby party, and we enjoyed every wine of the tasting and the descriptions of each wine were accurate. You can enjoy a lovely afternoon at Redtail and we will be returning, especially after we finish our bottles!
