May 2025 update: Stopped by for live music, a lovely and charming young lady singing covers and originals, and to try anything new and to enjoy our favorites. Here are the reviews:
- Expression Rose – 1st Dry wine on the menu and it is a little jammy but it is Dry. A fun wine for a fun occasion.
- Viognier – Perky and very Dry. Easy drinking and perfect wine to enjoy The Cottage’s lovely ambience on a warm North Georgia afternoon.
We brought our dog Luna as dogs are welcome and need to be on leash and well behaved.
April 2025 update: We popped in to the Cottage on a Sunday with about 20 minutes remaining until closing time. The lone bartender graciously invited us to stay until she was ready to close and leave. They have many new wines and they are dry! We were delighted with the new wines we tasted that we dry. Sweet and semi sweet wines remain available, but as we prefer dry wines, we were delighted and the wines were delightful. See the latest menus below effective April 2025:
For starters, the Cottage has some of the best views of North Georgia. They have a very large outdoors area that can accommodate large parties, seated, or moving around to take pictures against the gorgeous backdrop. There are 2 different tasting rooms so plentiful indoors seating. Be sure to double check the hours because most days they close at 6pm except Saturday and Sunday when they are open later. They have my favorite beer, Classic City Lager, and a number of wines that do skew toward the sweeter side. Most of their wines are sweet or semi-sweet if you prefer sweet wines. Again, the backdrop and scenery are gorgeous, you can host a large party there, and you will want to take plenty of photos for sure. You may bring dogs, on leash if they are well behaved and you are seated outdoors. Be sure to tip 15-20% on your tab or $1 per wine or beer and tip a few bucks to the performer!
