243 North Hamilton Street, Dalton, Georgia 30720
We were the first guests for Sunday brunch this summer in Dalton during our trip and experience in Chickamauga with Southern Shadows, Southern Shadows – Chickamauga’s Ghost Tour – Review, and Hamilton’s was an outstanding brunch and we highly recommend their Breakfast Pizza! This brunch special is actually available off-menu other days and nights, if they have all the ingredients! It’s all your favorite breakfast staples, pizza style, so it is kind of like a quiche in a pizza crust. So it is more savory, but pizza style so all the toppings are hot. It is just a delight and is one of our favorite brunch menu choices from any restaurant we have reviewed, so highly recommend this for Sunday brunch, or another day of the week if the kitchen can make it. The bartender was pleasant and a pro and gave us some great insight and advice about the area and other places to visit, and while the Bloody Mary is heavy, it is a great concoction as you can see. We could only have one though as it is such a filling and satisfying first drink to complement your brunch, and then we switched to one of their lagers, and they also have an excellent selection of beer and wine. We noticed that they also carry very interesting liquors and liqueurs like Fruitful Smoked Jalapeno Liqueur, so they are a fine craft cocktail lounge as well. We also had the brunch Eggs Benedict which was the classic, perfect Benedict you can want – eggs superbly poached with flavorful and seasoned sausage. The bartender told us how all their pizzas are superb, so we look forward to returning next time in Dalton.
