300 N.O.K. Drive Cleveland, Georgia 30528

Whenever you come to North Georgia, a visit to Babyland General is a must-see no matter your age, for the architecture of the grand building to the history and nostalgia in the museum area, the regular live action show, and of course the chance to adopt a Cabbage Patch kid. Artist and entrepreneur Xavier Robert started creating and selling Cabbage Patch Kids from an office in downtown Cleveland, Georgia, and the business outgrew that space and they built this wonderful attraction in North Georgia. The grounds are impressive, admission is free, they are open 7 days a week (check with them for holiday schedules), and it is a delight – arguably the finest and most charming attraction in North Georgia.

The museum area has autographed photos from dozens of celebrities and VIPs, including our 39th President and the 45th/47th President – what an unusual combination. The wall of famous stars speaks for itself. Be sure to spend some time admiring the photos. The museum also has prints of the original works by Pop artist Andy Warhol, the only place in North Georgia to see a Warhol, and there is also a live show that runs regularly through the day that introduces the Cabbage Patch Kids’ origin – it is a delight.

Babyland General also has many different varieties of dolls and other dolls and toys for sale, including rare limited editions, and souvenirs and other merchandise from this charming destination. Babyland General also has a restaurant connected to it, Wolf Creek Barbeque, that we also highly recommend and have thoroughly enjoyed every meal we ever had there: https://northgeorgiaculture.com/2026/01/10/wolf-creek-barbeque-at-babyland-general-restaurant-review/
So please make sure to visit the historic Babyland General and you may feel like you walked through a time machine, or you will be amazed at the history and the nostalgia in the museum, or you will be all smiles after the live show, but we think you will love it. Please tell them you read about Babyland General here at North Georgia Culture.
